Scratch is a very easy and yet powerful programming tool for any one who is interested in programming. This tool can be used by anyone as early as first grade. Scratch provides you a graphical or visual programming environment where you just drag and drop blocks to create your own programs. Scratch has been developed by MIT and they provide a lot of support and have tons of resources on their
web site. MIT will soon be realising a newer version of Scratch showing their deep involvement in this product. Scratch and all the support from MIT for this tool is absolutely Free.
I highly recommend this product to anyone interested in programming , especially for kids as it builds a very strong foundation for programming and "computational thinking".
